Daybook for Monday, March 22, 2010

FOR TODAY… from Mel’s Daybook
Outside my window…it’s dark and cold, making it hard to get out of bed this morning.
I am thinking…why did I get out of bed?  LOL
I am thankful for…good times and making memories.
I am wearing…jammies and robe, of course.
I am remembering…that we have to get Jacob signed up for soccer today.
I am going… to take Jacob to Tae Kwon Do later on this evening, as well as to the library.
I am currently reading…Here Burns My Candle by Liz Curtis Higgs.
I am hoping… to switch over to a sort of workbox system with our schoolwork, but I have to research it more.
On my mind… at this moment, how I’d like to go back to bed.:)  I am lazy this morning.
Noticing that…our little tree in the back yard was starting to get some buds, but with the snow, not sure how fast it will keep budding now; I did love having one last snow, though.:)
Pondering these words… Just show up.  Jesus said to “Go.”  He never called us to play it safe.  Where He goes, we’re to follow- from Scars and Stilettos.
From the kitchen…tonight will be grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Around the house…have to do a little cleaning today and laundry too.
One of my favorite things~ when the weatherman says we’re not going to get any accumulation and then we get 6 inches of beautiful snow.
From my picture journal… (From our trip to Tan-Tar-A Resort this last week; the lake was so beautiful.  While we waited for Dan one day, I took the boys up to the dam.)For more Daybook, visit Peggy at The Simple Woman’s Daybook.
