Time Out Tuesdays- Homeschool Edition
Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s time to take just a wee, little break and read up on what’s going on around the blogosphere. It’s time to forget how one of our fellow bloggers threw us for a loop (and basically herself) in the New York Times and just take a small break from all of the hard work we do as mommies….it’s time to be encouraged and find some great homeschooling resources. Homegrown Mom has a great article, 10 Signs That You May Need a Break. She also teaches you how to do picture studies with your kids in Art Appreciation Made Simple.
Curriculum Choice has a great post with resources listed, Hands-on History Fun.
The Homeschool Classroom has several great posts; one that was easy to relate to as a homeschooling parent was, “Oh, I could NEVER homeschool!” Another great post, The Most Important Subject We Can Teach Our Children.
I found this link over on The Homeschool Classroom….it’s for a post on Minds Bloom, 8 Fun Dictionary Activities. This might just make the dictionary fun for Jacob.
If you have not seen Tot School yet, you are not going to want to miss this wonderful resource for you and your toddlers. I’ve been trying to find more activities for Jaden, as he can get quite bored with Jacob and I doing school, so this site is a lifesaver for me! I can’t wait to really dive in and start doing some of these activities with him.
